| Putnam’s has totally ruined all my future holiday plans! Due to the pain I suffer in both my shoulders and my neck as a result of having to use crutches because of my disability, I bought a Kingsize Memory Pillow after seeing an ad for its benefits. However, it turned out to be a very expensive pillow, as I tried it out for size on the bed in the Putnams showroom and was so impressed by the comfort of the Lam Visco Memory mattress an the bed that I decided to buy a mattress too! My left hip joint had to be removed eighteen months ago and the remaining thigh bone is very damaged and fragile and I experience a great deal of pain in the hip socket, thigh bone and thigh muscle, which, in addition to the pain in both shoulders, had made sleeping very difficult. I am so glad I decided to go ahead with the purchase despite my concerns about the price of the mattress, which has to be admitted is not cheap. Being registered disabled, I am entitled to VAT exemption on certain disability related goods, which considerably helped ‘swing’ the decision in favour of the purchase. My new mattress and pillow are absolute bliss! What comfort – well worth every penny! Unless you have tried sleeping with the visco memory pillow and mattress you just cannot imagine the comfort they provide. I am stuck for words (which is most unlike me!) to describe how wonderfully comfortable they are. To wake up without being in pain is marvelous. I am so pleased with both pillow and mattress. However, what am I to do when I go away on holiday? Although I could probably take my pillow with me, I can hardly take a mattress!!! How am I to sleep comfortably when I am on holiday?
